Motiver provides not-for-profit organisations with professional expertise at a fraction of the cost of recruiting a new staff member – or paying the high fees of many consultancies and training providers. We do this either by passing on our knowledge and experience – through training and consultancy – or taking on contracts to personally deliver specific aspects of your work.
Who we are
Motiver’s principal consultant and trainer is James Gray. James has extensive experience in voluntary sector campaigning, development and research. He has undertaken a broad range of roles and assignments within social welfare, arts and human rights organisations, including at Trustee level. James has been widely quoted in the media and has written on politics and social policy for The Guardian, The Times, New Humanist, New Internationalist and Red Pepper.
Motiver also works with a network of independent consultants, all of whom have a wealth of experience in communicating effectively with supporters, the general public, politicians and the media. They have either held relevant positions within key organisations or have developed their expertise through grassroots activism.
